My understanding is that your Cobra has a 15 tooth spline, the one you linked is a 13 tooth (Earlier 4 Cyl's and small OBs).

Do a search here, but the short answer is that Pitch is the theoretical distance a propeller would travel through a solid in one revolution. If you use RPM, Gear Ratio and Pitch you can figure out how fast your boat should go theoretically. Kinda goes to heck in a hand basket from there as you need to consider horsepower and Slip. The latter being another one that you should search, but will cause a whole bunch more questions. Fun topic, but will take some time to wrap your head around it.
