My friend just recently bought a boat and I am attempting to help him fix it. We took it out on the weekend and needed to boost the battery, after only an hour of the motor off we needed to boost it again. Something in the charging system must be bad. But that is about as far as my knowledge on boats goes. I am electrically inclined so with a little guidence I am sure I can figure out what component may be damaged. I am just not sure where to start? I have no schematics or manual so any and all help would be much appreciated.
