Stratos 1760 DV, length 17'6", beam 92", w/o engine 1490# dry weight.
115 etec, 375# dry weight, 2.0:1, operating range 5500-6000 rpm.
Current props:
BRP Alum 13.2x19, wot 5350 @ 48-49 mph (gps)
BRP Raker 13.5x18, wot 5650 @ 43-44 mph (gps)
Hi Guys,
I am trying to find a prop that will put me in that 48-49 mph range while keeping my rpms up around 5600-5700. I get the speed out of the alum 19p but i feel like its lugging the motor. I think the hieght is pretty good, while running in the 40's with the motor trimmed in the sweet spot, i can see the A/V plate above the water line.
I just dinged up the raker. So before i fork out 200 to get it repaired, thought i would check with you experts. Maybe i would be better off with a different prop?
Thanks for your time, Bruce
