Does anyone know how many fluid ounces it takes to fill the alpha one lower units with gear lube/oil? I have a conatiner that is almost full...believe like 22oz. left in it with the hose to pump it into but didn't want to start putting it in if its not enough to fill the unit. Thanks for anybody that knows or where to find it out at.

They take just over a quart, and the amount may vary due to casting and machining.
Fill from the bottom till it comes out the top, then it's full. Don't try to count ounces.

Ayuh,... With the bottle pump, you need 2 quarts for the job...
You don't wanta pump the air bubbles in, so stop short,+ refill...

alright sounds good, thanks guys. thats what i was worried about was pumping in air if it wasn't full yet and then stopping and having to go buy more. so i'll just go buy more now and then i'll have enough to do it. thanks.
