Hello, wondering what you folks might have for ideas attaching 2 transducers and a pitot without drilling holes in the transom.

here's a picture.. I want them on the lower starboard side of the transom.

I'd like to have a peice of wood to screw into, but theres the wood in the water issue, though may give good testing for the CPES product.

Hey Kainon how ya doin? What works for me is to use a piece of marine board, and silicone .Take the silicone and using one or two screws attach the marine board to the transom. then put as many holes as you need to mount the transducers to the marine board. This also extends transducers away from the transom allowing bubbles to escape ,giving you better readings .Good luck

I did like crumb suggested to attach 2 ducres and a pitot tube, piece of Starboard 3M4200'd onto the transom, though I used a couple of screws to hold the piece of plastic secure while the 4200 was curing. Check Ebay to see if they have any scrap pieces of black starboard.

put the pitot as far away from the transducer as possible it will cause problems with readings.

Hi Guys.. thank you very much. good info,

I wonder where my scrap peice of Starboard is... hmm...

I definately like that solution.

And advise on Pitot / Ducer placement is helpful

I've worked on a few boats but never did any placement of that stuff

and placing so it doesnt get ripped off from the bunks is key too..

Thanks Guys !!

I roughed up the back of the Starboard with 50 grit sand paper so the glue had something to bite into, but I don't know if I'd trust it without the screws.
