Need some help mariner 30 hp??????

Hi i am new her and was hopen to get some help bought a used boat with a mariner 30 HP the motor idles great runs great tell you get to full throttle then it spit's and sputter back it of alittle runs great but cant get full throttle and help would be great. Thank's

Sounds like the way I started. These guys need more info. What year is it? Most older motors have multible problems.You'll probably have to start doing some up-keep on it to eliminate the ordinary suspects. Let these guys know what you've already done and they might be able to help you more.

Ok i done a compression test all good rebuit the carb and with new gasket and i dont knoe the year. Thanks

What you have posted is a symptom of fuel restriction/starvation. Possible cause are:
1) float level off
2) inlet needle swollen restricting fuel into bowl
3) trash in/behind high speed jet
4) fuel pump diaphram weak
