Hey everyone, I own a 91 American Skier Sport advance with 260 hours.
I just bought a boat lift and I'm looking for an affordable solution that will prevent me from over-running the lift, saving my prop.
One idea I have is to bridge the bunks with a piece of wood covered in the thick dock edging, so the front fin (skeg) will bump into it and prevent the boat from going too far forward. I would be entering slowly, and it would be just a light bump.
Any thoughts?
