Mercury 90 Miss/hesitation Carb Help

Have a 07 Mercury 90 HP 2 stroke that starts ok however it shakes at idle up to around 2000 rpm..... after 2000 through 5500 rpm runs smoother and at times intermittent hesitation/miss. Have good fuel, seafoam, good fuel filter, replaced the plugs good compression. Thoughts are might be a carb problem. Going to take off carbs and clean. Are there any tricks, is it a hard job.
