hopefully someone can help... I have seen similar post to my problem but with few good answers. I have a 1982 70hp mercury. It will run at full throttle for about 15 minutes and then it has major power loss and goes from 30mph to 10mph. The top cylinder seems to be dry and has carbon build up all over the plug about a 1/32 thick. The bottom two cylinders have just a touch of oil on them and look normal, I am running NGK BUHW plugs. Also i have ran a compression test and all cylinders were at 130psi. Any information that someone might have that would be a good starting point for me to diagnose this problem would be greatly appreciated.
