i bought a 12' boat, motor and trailer 2 weeks ago and need a prop for the motor. it's a Johnson 5hp Seahorse, Model #LD-11R, plus any other info would be helpful.

Your motor is a 1966 model year 5HP.

It uses 50:1 87 or 89 US Octane gasoline mixed with TC-W3 oil.

The parts are the same as for the Evinrude 5HP model for the same year except for the cover and paint: http://www.marineengine.com/parts/v...ntage-evinrude-johnson/278775/27877500001.htm

The spark plugs are Champion J6C gapped at .030.

The original propeller was part #0380104 and was 8 X 7-1/2. Michigan Wheel 012004 is a good match; call iboats at 1-800-718-1233 and see if they will order one for you.
