I just bought a 21 foot CC Stratos with a 92 200 Johnson on the back. I was checking it out and it has 2 fuel/water seperators on the same fuel line. Could that or will that effect the preformance of the motor?

Re: fuel/water seperator

It depends on the capacity of the seperators. If they are both 40+GPH, you will likely be OK. I am not sure why anyone would install two, however. Maybe lots of water in the gas tank? if one gets full of water, is can restrict the flow of fuel to the second, which means the second seperator is useless.

I was thinking of just buying a new line and bypass at least one of the seperators.
