Your straight 6 right? If you are a handy guy, probably not too bad. You will need to find all of the components (pump, control valve, actuator, hoses ect.). Best bet is to find a junk donor boat similar to yours and transfer all the parts. download Merc Manual 6A Power Steering it give a pretty good description of the system and how it works. Good luck!
