Hello guys, well I passed on buying one boat a few weeks ago and am now looking at a 1977 Glaspar with a 4cyl GM engine with a OMC out drive. The guy said he only uses it for fishing. Pictures show it to look in pretty good shape. My questions here are there two different companies or do people just spell Glaspar differently. I see a spelling of "Glasspar" and "Glaspar" or were there two different companies. Any opinions of this or these brands of boats. I know with boats of this age it really all depends on how and when servicing was done but it helps to start with something well made. Guys thanks for any imput, I know these question from newbies get to be old but this web site has been for me and my boating inquiries.
Thanks much, Wes.

Just a misspelling. Only one Company, the other was Glastron.

I would personally steer clear of a boat with an OMC drive.

Guys thanks for the input. The OMC out drive is one of my concerns and I'll probably pass.
Thanks, Wes.
