How high/out is too high? I can run mine high enough to even hit the trailer button a little to get even higher(I have done it once only) without cavitating. I do however run the trim pretty hight to get maximum speed. Is it hard on my gimbal bearing or u-joint to do this? Any info or comments are greatly appreciated, Thanx! :)

Ayuh,... If you're using the trailer button, your in the range for accelerated wear, or Damage,...

So Not getting into the trailer button means that I'm not adding any wear? I only did it once just to see where it cavitates. This boat,outdrive and prop combo just does not cavitate.
