Hello gents,
Been away for a while, but trying to get a second boat up and operating here. Long story short: I need to install an electric fuel pump on a boat.
I'm aware of all the electrical and oil pressure cut-off issues. I am simply looking for your recommendations on an electric fuel pump.
The fuel pump will be supplying an Edelbrock 1409 marine carb on 4.3L non-balanced shaft with Edelbrock intake manifold (#2114) and vortec heads.
Would you guys recommend/have any experience with the following:
Carter P4389 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRT-P4389/)
Holley Red (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-712-801-1/)
Airtex (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATX-E8337/)
The Carter and Holley are rotary vane, the airtex is an in-line solenoid pump.
I think i'm leaning towards the Carter as it is on sale, but the solenoid pump has some appeal as well.
Thanks in advance.
