turn up rpm motor turn off

i was just idleing and giving my boat last touch up before i take it out but i turn up the rpm motor rev down and turned off while i was off i looked in the carb and seen drop of fuel just driping down , maybe it getting flooded, i did not checked anything else i left it for tomorrow just getting information before i hit the engine. my luck it a 83 20ft cuddy cabin 4 cylinder 470 motor.:::rolleyes:

Im pretty sure that you will get answers that suggest that you need to do a carb rebuild...stuck, or pin hole in float...and/or a needle and seat issue.

Let's wait and see...!

yea thats what im thinking the float is getting stuck

i just removed the interup switch and motor crank but do not start im i doing it wright what should i do when i disconnect the switch
