This is no thing of beauty, but it was a butcher job when I got it.
It started out as a 63' Jupiter, but had the bow cut out of it, and just enough helm area to hold the wheel.

I finished cutting it out and trimmed it up quite a bit to make it neater looking.
It's powered by a 25 johnson 2 stroke, and reaches the break neck speed of 26 mph with a 13 pitch prop.

i have a 1962 jupiter that im
making fishable but no way would i ever cut the deck
off of it
but yours sure does look nice

Nice looking save. 20+ mph will get you to the fishing hole. My boat tops out at 27 mph wot with a 3.0 inboard.
I think those 2 stroke motors like you have are good reliable motors. My dad 25hp johnson likes fresh non eth gas for it to start good. Last year it would not start with 3 month old eth gas, put fresh non eth gas in it and she starts first 2-3 pulls, no electric start.
