My VRO has a crack near the pulse inlet. No fuel or oil can be pumped to the carb when idle. I decide to replace VRO with a regular fuel pump and use pre-mix gas. I saw a fuel pump ( part # 438557 ) at the local dealer. The mechanic said it can be used on my motor but I recognized that the fuel outlet and the pulse inlet are smaller than what used on VRO. I'm afraid that this pump may not supply enough fuel at WOT. Any idea ?<br />Another thing I'd like to know is the part # 438402 pre-mix conversion kit is a whole set of pump or just an add on that have to be used with old VRO ? Local dealer doesn't have this part. If I have to use it, I have to wait 2-4 weeks.
