I have a 1969 16' Glasspar tri hull and I have torn up all the plywood and foam from the hull need to replace the foam but i am unsure if the foam i put back needs to structural or not curious if i could just pour it in place or if block foam would be better? also looking at the stringers they appear to be fiber glass. When i took the floor up there was 1 x 8 boards laying flat not on end on top of the foam tucked under the lip of the fiberglass stringers wondering what they where for? ANY help would be great thanks!

Re: my 69' glasspar cutlass 1600 redo

ive got a 72 cutlass and im at the same stage of the resto. as far as i know the foam is structural on this boat. the 1x8 is to secure the plywood deck to. im contemplating putting a mahogany lumber deck down. anything you have learned or are doing would be usefull
