I have read a few posts and done searches about the dreaded no spark issue. My motor is a 3.0l mercruiser alpha one 4cyl. I've installed a new battery tested all connections and grounds but cant get spark out of the coil.
This motor uses the delco est distributor and coil systtem. I Have a power probe for testing and have power to coil, power to dirtributor module but no spark. It almost acts like a kill switch or something. Relay not tripped either.
Tried crossing over these parts to gm #'s but having a hard time. I have the seirra replacement #'s, but autozone cant cross those over. Is their a website that you guys use to find our items from any auto store?
Im getting frustrated as this is my first boat, kids buggin me to take them out. I work on and restore old musclecars, so im somewhat mechanical but this boat is kicking my butt...
