I've got a '75 6hp Evinrude. It is a good running little motor, but I'm having to keep the primer pumped on the tank to keep it running. I feel like the fuel pump is probably dried out, as it has sat inside for about 10 years. I've found fuel pump rebuild kits, but they list for an 85-up motor (Sierra 18-7823). Does anybody know if this kit would work on the older engine or do you know of anybody that sells a kit for the older engine? Any help would be appreciated, as i'm hoping to be on the water in the next week or so. Thanks.
