How to determine battery condition.

I have two optimax spiral wound batteries and was wondering how I can determine their condition. They're about three years old and are completely sealed. I don't want to find out the hard way.

bring them to a shop and have a load test done on them. Any Marine or automotive repair shop "should" have the ability to test them.

I bought a load tester on sale for 25 bucks. it puts a load on the battery and tells you the cranking amps. they work remarkably well. especially if you dont trust the kids working the battery tester at the store.
