What is correct water pressure

Last week I took my pontoon out for the first time since I bought it last year.
It has a gauge in the dash that says PSI, I am assuming this is the water pressure gauge, correct? When I first started off it was reading about 3 psi, but later after riding for a while it leveled off at 2 1/2 psi but it had a strong stream of water coming from the pee hole. Is this enough pressure or should I be concerned?
