I recently acquired an old Evinrude Scout bow-mounted trolling motor with a foot pedal. From what I can read from the tag on the pedal, the Model number is: EB54W and the Serial Number is: H94092
It is a dual (12/24) voltage motor. The propeller is 6 1/2 inches across but it seems kind of small. The guy I bought it from said that it has 25 lbs of thrust but I am not sure if he was right. I got it working fine with the 12V connected to one battery, and with the 24V connected to 2 batteries in series.
Can anyone tell me what the rated thrust is for this motor and if the propeller is the correct size?
