Either on the muffs or on the water the right side cylinders looking from the back of the engine run cool to the touch and the left cyls runs hotter to the touch, you would not want to leave hand on the left side very long but I don't think it's overheating checked with infra red sensor and running about 137 degrees after warm up. I understand the cooling goes from the right cylinders to the left and would expect a temp difference. Is this normal or maybe just a thermostat issue. The infra red sensor showed the rt side at about 85 degrees. Any help would be appreciated.

thermostat is stuck or that bank of cylinders is not firing.
Most likely t stat problem remove and install new one or clean debris as required.
