old renken question

I was just given a old 70's something renken with a 70hp evinrude the guy just wanted out of his yard it hasn't been run in about 4 years or so. I stripped all the carpet and interior out the floor has no soft spot but there was some water in the hull( i guess from rain) just sitting there. So my question is should I be worried about damage under the floor I would hate to rip up a solid floor for no reason.

I'd take a core sample to check out the foam. Basic gist is cut a hole in the floor, take a piece of PVC pipe with some teeth notched in it and jam it down into the foam to the bottom. Pull it out and examine the plug to see if you have wet foam. If you don't, go boating. If you do, it pretty much with never dry and you're in for a rebuild.
