I bought the boat a few weeks ago and the reverse worked when it was demonstrated along with back at my house. When I launched the boat reverse does not engage. After words I tried putting it in reverse back at my house and no dice. Just revved.
The engine works great going forward and has no problem going into neutral. When I put it in reverse the engine will rev but the prop won't turn. Same as when I had it in at the launch.
Any ideas? Also, is it a fairly easy fix? I'm pretty competent but by no means a mechanical expert.
