Clutch-Lower Gearcase

When the clutch slips is it because:

a.) The face of the clutch is wearing?

b.) The forward gear face is wearing ?

c.) Both A and C?


Is there a way of fixing this without buying new parts? How?

All of the above.A good machine shop can reface the gears and dog.Squaring them can make them useable a lot of times.J
