I have a 2000 Bayliner 1802 Capri Cuddy with a 2000 Merc 125 hp elpto. I want to get a prop that has more power when pulling up skiers. I can't read the numbers on the prop as they are almost worn away. Anyone have any ideas what the stock prop was on this boat/motor combo? I understand that decreasing the pitch by 2 would give me more power pulling up skiers. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Prop Info

If you read the stickies at the top of the page and the helps on the prop store page
it will help you understand prop, selection better.
There isn't really a stock prop just various props that would fit the typical use of the boat.
Prop numbers usually appear under the prop nut or a prop shop can measure it for you.Yes typically a reduction in pitch will improve hole shot also a 4 blade prop will improve hole shot and the ability to cruise at lower speed and throttle setting.
Generally it is reccomended to decrease pitch one inch with a 4 blade but this would depend on your present performance.
