I need to get a new anchor and I'm torn between a slip ring anchor and a river anchor. Traditionally I use a slip ring anchor, but lately I've been thinking about installing an Anchormate Winch on my boat. It seems the river anchor or mushroom anchor are the only ones compatible with the Anchormate. Any suggestions on which anchor is better for the intercoastal waterways?
