Hey guys
I have a 60 hp ELPTO SN OT062410. The prop has a wobble to it when you spin it around so I am assuming the shaft is bent. I have been looking and cant seem to find a straight forward list of parts I will need to fix this problem. I think I need a 44-850308 shaft or equivilent but I am not 100% sure. Can anyone clarify for me that this is the correct shaft. Also I am no boat mechanic but a do-it-yourself kinda guy. Is replacing this shaft something I should tackle on my own?
I am sure I am gonna need more than just a shaft such as seals and what not. Anybody got any ideas what I should need? (other than a good boat mechanic and a big checkbook)
