After market engine kill switch

Just bought an after market kill switch. Is it as easy as wiring the switch in series with the ground wire or is there more to it than that. Hopefully pictures will help.

It's very easy.The hard part is cutting the hole.J

Nope, wasn't the purple wire. Anyone know witch wire to splice into?

The hole for the switch turned out perfect by the way.:)

You want to ground the CDI modules to ground. Earlier engines use a white wire and newer engines use black and yellow. Use a spade lug and connect one wire of the kill switch to the ignition switch or buss bar and the other to the buss bar ground or any convenient ground. Make sure the switch is open normally.
