its me again, lol... 88' carver santego with 98' 4.3 ltr vortecs. port motor starts up and runs for about minute and a half, then dies. it starts right back up and dies within the same time. new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, rebulit carb (even swapped with carb from running starboard motor). would a clogged fuel vent cause this to happen. i blew in the vent and it seemed to be clogged up, couldnt blow into the port tank. blew right through running starboard tank vent. it has an electric fuel pump so im figuring the motors just running on whats in the carb after pump primes it up...

thanks..

Re: fuel vent...

Howdy,

You have an easy way to check.

Disconnect the fuel line from fuel pump to the tank in question.

Then, run the pump using a clear vinyl hose into a container and see how well the fuel flows!

Re: fuel vent...

If U got a clogged vent, fuel doesn't go in very well & pukes out.
The easiest way to find out,,,
Remove the gas filler cap then run her.
