Cannon sport troller depth indicator

I bought a used boat that came with these manual downriggers. They seem simple enough to operate but I can't figure our how to adjust ( reset ) the depth guage on the side of the pulley. Any help would be most appreciated !

HI, Thanks for the info but these are different. The only depth indication in on the side of the pulley in the form of a clocklike dial that reads from 0 to 95 in 5' increments and doesn't seem to have any way of resetting it. I think you just have to remember what it read when you started lowering it. Seeing the url for the manual you sent may lead me to finding one for this one.
