going to look at this motor with power tilt and trim with all controls asking 1000 $ Has good compression in all cylenders. Says it has low hours on rebuild.What would a good price be it looks to be in great shape in the pics. It seems a little high on the price , any opinions what it would be worth? Thanks

I think that is a lot of $$, for a 30+ year old motor. Check the gearcase oil for water intrusion. Make sure the PT works well. Those are the two expensive things to repair. A compression check should show 100+ PSI and more importantly, even compression across all six.
