I just purchased my first 'big' boat, which is in excellent condition. The former owner (deceased) had the impeller changed in 06. I started the engine (in lake) for the first time and a constant alarm sounded. I believe from reading this forum that it is temperature alarm. However, what would cause the alarm to sound from the very start. a steady stream is coming from the tell-tale, so could it be the sender / thermostat or what? thanks in advance from a novice.
