Which side is positive on this fuel pump?

I'm replacing a fuel pump on a 96 mercruiser 4.3l and have verified that I have the right fuel pump.

The problem is that I'm replacing a very cheap, not-so-right pump that the previous owner spliced onto the wiring harness. The handy little connector is long gone. I can still tell which wire is positive on the harness, but the Sierra pump is completely unmarked and I can't find support material for the product. If anyone happens to know which side is which, you'd be helping me out a ton.

Thanks in advance,

Adam

If all else fails, connect it up. If it doesn't pump fuel, try it the other way. You won't damage the pump connecting it backwards.

This is from a Merc service manual (Merc use the same pump), it may help....

Thanks for the pic, achris. It'll give me a fighting chance at getting it right the first try :)
