so i just got a new to me 86' wellcraft 185 elite. 305 mercruiser alpha 1. i took it for the first run the other day. its runs great but is very light on the steering. to light for my liking. maybe i'll get used to it. i was wondering if i could swap out the power steering pulley for a larger one(make the pump turn slower) so the steering would be a little stiffer. idea's?
