Re: oil out exhaust 95 kawasaki 900

no oil should come out the exhaust, smoke should, when they sit over the winter the oil tank can gravity bleed into the engine and they will make a mess. the oil line feeds into the fuel chamber of the carb and mixes with fuel, so your carb will be full of oil, not gas. I would remove the carbs and clean them and clean out the check valves. they should not free flow and if you have a pop off guage they should pop arround 2-4 pounds. I've seen many 900's and 1100's seize from lean fuel conditions becuase of these check valves. Premix conversion is the best bet after you clean out yer carbs.
