Re-jet a 40HP to a 50HP or a 60HP

I am thinking about buying a 2002 40HP mercury outboard. It is the oil injected 3 cylinder. I checked the specs and it has the same weight and displacement as the 50HP and 60 HP models. How hard is it to convert or change the HP?

About $550 as you will need to buy 3 new carbs to convert to a 60 hp.
