My 12' Sears project

Here is my 12' Sears project.

But first I need some help. Can someone tell me what year the boat and the motor are?

I got the whole package really cheap, and with a few minor things, it is lake ready.

Here is a list of things I have done thus far:

1 new tire
all new wiring and lights on trailer
cleaned and repacked bearings on trailer
ripped old carpet out of boat (wish now I hadn't yet)
registered boat and trailer
changed lower end oil in outboard

I took it to a local lake and took it for a test run. No leaks or seepage and the motor runs great. The little motor pushes the boat around good but it has no reverse and is a direct drive (no clutch)

I have no idea.....Welcome to iboats.

I am going to guess you might be able to call Sears because the serial number's do nothing to trace the boat.

Looks like a nice combo!

I have a 1962 sears but mine doesnt look any thing like that one?? wounder if mine is not really a sears.:confused:since the name plate is long gone. that little guy will be lost of fun getting back into the creeks where the good fishing is.
