Hello

Weve been having trouble getting started, need to know which way to look.

The engine turns over starts putt putting a couple times then quits.

When the prop starts to move quick and starts putt putting the starter gear spinner comes down from the crankshaft and makes loud screeching sound?

Is this an electrical, choke, battery, .... issue?

P.S. - Do you want to wait inbetween attempts at starts any specific amount of time, if so why?

The propeller should not be turning when starting, the gearcase should be in neutral until the engine has a chance to reach 650 RPM.

You need to have the warmup lever raised during cold startup and the choke plates should be 100%, absolutely closed until the engine fires up.
