70's 9.5 fuel questions

With the new E10 blended gasoline, what is the recommended fuel to use? Regular, Plus, Super?

I flushed all the old fuel out of the motor today, it started great. 2nd pull, but after I sat for an hour or so and went to start it, I had a hell of a time. Had to choke and pull, unchoke and pull, several times before I could get it to fire (New fuel, 89 octane rating)

Also too, how hot should the engine be running? Mine seems to be running fairly warm and it has me concerned.

85 octane is fine, when was the impeller last changed. should be every 2 years. read ethanol in the TOP SERCRET FILE.

Impeller is brand new last year anyways. It pumps water like mad out the exhaust. I'm thinking the thermostat may be the cause of the running. Whats the opening temperature of the thermostat? 143 degrees?

87 octane which is the lowest I can get always seemed to run trashy in them. Maybe I'll have to try it again.
