power trim problems

i just had my trim pump rebuilt and when i got it home from the shop i notice it would not go up i helped it up to get the transom saver off then let it down and it worked fine went up and would only go up bout three quarters the way and stop so after going up and down 7 or 8 times it stopped moving all together but the motor runs and sounds good this is on a 1994 50hp evinrude

Low fluid.

Prop the engine up and refill the unit. It takes quite a few up/down movements to bleed the system.

Don't over do it. You can overheat the trim motor.
