80's era 35 Evinrude wiring help

so i have a 35 electric start from sometime in the 80's i believe and the control harness went bad. dry rot and such. well i ordered a replacement but the two harnesses are different. i gave the lady the model and serial number so i think the person i bought it from may have jerry rigged a harness do ya'll know where i can find a wiring diagram online cause i'd like to use my key start and choke

also this motor has a tiller and push button stop start

the old harness plug was black and the new one is red

The black and red plug harnesses are different. I would try to get a black one, like your old one. Very easy replacement then.

I need a diagram for the engine side of the control harness what wires connect where that sort of thing thanks
