I finally got a new boat and i have to say i'm happy that is over for a while and i really like it now what motor to get on it.It is rated for a 20hp max so know i'm weighing my options out any opinions or help on this one out here.Does anyone have a same type of setup with a 15 or 20hp 4stroke and what type of performance do u get with 1 or 2 people on it?sorry about the date on the pic my camera is messed up i need to get a new one but it is a current pic,i just bought it a few days ago.

Congratulations on your new baby!
A 15 will be plenty.
Get a pull-start; then you don't need a battery.
2 strokes are lighter and it's easier to find used ones.
Suggest you put floor boards down; you can really trip over the ribs (I get hip boots stuck in them, too). Also quiets the boat for fishing. And there's usually some water sloshing around. Just cut some plywood; lift it out for cleaning.
Also add cleats.
