Is the 703 remote control box that we have with our yamaha 70hp 2-stroke (1997), compatible with our new yamaha 60hp 4-stroke (~2006)??
Also, what needs to be done to convert the new 60hp 4-stroke from tiller to remote control??
I'm worried that the 2-stroke is on its last legs and that we will need to break out the new engine...we don't have money budgeted for the switch (I work at a university and we are really feeling the state's budget woes)...so I'm hoping it is something I can do myself. and cheap!
