i have been having issues with my motor this spring...it wants to die at low idle speed when going through the canal and when i get to the big waters if i slowly give it throttle it will die...but if i throw the hammer down it takes off like a champ..and runs fine..any suggestions...thanx

contaminate carbs. read the top secret file.

Try turning out the low speed jets and see if that helps. If not, as stated earlier, clean the carbs.

i believe they are fixed jets..i can honestly say the carbs most likely say the carbs have not been touched since the were new.i was about 90% sure they were the case
