no spark from coil

I have a 1974 L6 Merc.outboard. I checked for power to the switch box and I have power to the Red and White terminals. I also have power to the Rectifier and the Brown wire coming from the distributor. Should I have power at the Green wire for the coil terminal?

Having 2 threads for the same problem is confusing to us and you....
