I just recently purchased a boat in the last year with a 2005 Johnson 90hp 2 stroke with a new water pump on it, I have ran it several times but this past weekend after running it wide open for about 4 minutes the buzzer went off. I checked to see if it was hot and it was not, what else could it be?

Your engine should have the System Check gauge or tach that has the 4 warning lights on it. Each light is labled and tells what the problem is.

If you don't have that, then someone did not install the engine correctly, see a dealer right away.

Alice, The four possible alarms are low oil in resevoir, no oil at the OMS pump, overheat and Check Engine. Check engine may or may not be fitted to your motor. if you have that alarm, it means you have a fuel restriction.
